Question: I am planning on repainting my cabin. Do I need permission even if I am planning on using the same color?
Answer: Yes. The Architectural control committee (ACC) needs to ensure all projects, to include construction, additions, and renovation projects conform to the covenants. The procedure is very easy. Answer: You need to complete an Architectural Control Committee (ACC) application (ACC Application) as soon as possible even if you have not yet received your building permit from Park County. This way we can help you avoid any conflicts with our covenants & Park County building regulations. No building, fence, wall, canopy, awning, structure or improvement, or change in landscaping, shall be commenced, erected, altered, moved, removed or maintained upon properties, nor shall any exterior addition to, or change or alteration thereof, be made until the plans and specifications showing the nature, kind, shape, height, materials, color, and location of the same shall have been submitted to and approved in writing as to compliance with the Declaration, and as to harmony of external design and location in relation to surrounding structures and topography by an Architectural Control Committee composed of representative appointed by the Developer or elected as set forth in Paragraph 19 of the Declaration.
Structural color schemes shall be compatible with the natural environment. Natural or earth colors are encouraged.
Question: How much are Annual Dues and when are they due?
Answer: The annual dues assessment were $75 per year per lot.. Dues are due and payable upon receipt of your statement in January of each year. If the dues are not paid within 30 days after the due date, there will be a $25 late penalty and interest may also be charged from the date of delinquency at the rate of interest per year as determined by the board of directors. You can submit a payment for your dues on the Annual Dues Tab.
Question: Is there fishing in the Foxtail Pines pond?
Answer: Yes, the FPOA stocks the pond at the community picnic area. Fishing is for FPOA members and their guests only. A state fishing license is required only if your catch is removed from the Foxtail Pines development. Please observe our limit of two fish per day. When in doubt, all Colorado State Game, Fish and Parks regulations must be complied with.
Question: Are off-highway vehicles, including ATVs and dirt bikes, permitted?
Answer: Yes, but only on your private property. Park County Regulations do not allow operation of off-highway vehicles on county maintained roads. Violators may be ticketed. Off-road vehicles are also not allowed in Foxtail Pines open spaces. Finally, please be considerate of your neighbors when operating such vehicles.
Question: When is the annual Foxtail Pines Owners Association annual meeting held?
Answer: The FPOA annual meeting is generally held on the first Saturday in August. The meeting is held jointly with our annual picnic and fishing derby at our community recreation area. Advance notice of all FPOA board meetings will be posted on this website.
Question: I am unable to attend the annual meeting and would like to vote by proxy. How can I do this?
Answer: Proxy ballots will be available for download from this website prior to any membership meetings involving a vote. You must mail the completed proxy to our FPOA manager at the address listed under “Contact Us” link on this website. You may also have your designee present your proxy at the meeting. The proxy ballots will identify any specific issues that will require a vote of the membership, as well as information on board of director positions up for election.
